Seats
My car is silver with lobster leather interior. When I purchased it, the interior was furnished with lovely black cloth Porsche seat covers.
I liked the original seats, but they badly needed to be recovered ($1100). I had a chance to buy a pair of used Sparco seats for half that, and I jumped at it. When my giant crate arrived I was very excited, and dove right in!
I had time before the next DE so I wanted to get some "seat time".
I could see my lap times drop immediately!
The driver' seat went in easily, using a Sparco bottom mount slider kit.
I still needed some small hardware, advice and a harness bar, so I called
OG RACING and ordered a Brey-Krause harness guide bar and another slider kit (it's too cool to pass up on a dual use car).OG Racing got the parts that I needed sent to me included a BK harness bar
The first DE with the seats was great fun, despite heat and a brake line nightmare.
My next project was a Momo wheel, shifter and spacer, to complete the cockpit.
