Brakes
My car retains its stock S style rotors and calipers. Many people, especially those who sell brakes and brake upgrade kits, told me that they would be inadequate on the track. Unsure if I wanted to go for used 917 style brakes off of a later 930 or spend the big bucks on wheels to get Big Reds, or if I should fall between and run 928s brakes, I decided to at least try mine.
I added DOT stainless steel lines, bled the system extensively, changed to a racing compound pad and added a cool brakes kit from
OG RACING . The brakes worked well at Texas World Speedway. As I add suspension and tires, I may need more brakes, but for now this works well.These are the ducts going on. and then the other side with lines and duct installed.
