914RIDE_09

On Saturday, September 8, 2001, eight Porsche 914's (and one 911 Turbo) assembled in the
Meijer's parking lot on Rochester Rd. We had a variety of colors and models. Included were four original sixes (2.0 to 2.7L), one 2.2L six conversion, and three fours (2.0, 1.8 & 1.7). The owners had a chance to admire each others cars before we set off on "The Ride". Since most 914's don't have A/C We enjoyed our stop for cider and donuts along the way.
When the rain caught many of the cars topless, we had a quick pit stop to cover everyone up.
We stopped to tour a new log home and learn about the construction of these houses. After
a great "Ride" we all stopped to eat and enjoy more conversation. Hope that you and your
"Teener" can join us next time.
