1969 Porsche 911T #'s match

Certificate of authenticity from Porsche. No expense spared in original period correct 6807 sand beige.

Interior:

New head-liner and door panels; carpet and seats recovered and re-padded. Original steering wheel w/leather still in excellent condition. All gauges and HVAC working properly.

Body:

Superior paint job using original period factory brand paint where all parts were removed; therefore no tape lines or parts painted that were not originally painted. All welded seams were waterproofed behind the panels before being painted and shot with Wurth undercoating - 1 coat Dupont acid etch primer, 3 coats Dupont primer (car was “blocked”), 6 coats of Glasurit single stage paint, wet sanded and buffed. Rubber seals are replaced, turn signals, bumper to body, windows, trunk, engine, etc. This is not a “dealer restore” but done personally and done for the love of a Porsche. New inner and outer rockers and floor boards were replaced. Front pan is rock solid; "S" front spoiler, and dealer installed rear crash bar (crash bar and S spoiler were not on the COA)

Engine/Transmission:

Numbers matching original 2.0l/901 engine and transmission. Compression tested at +- 10% all cylinders (get ppi to validate) Turbo valve covers on bottom; original Bosch ignition system. Unknown miles or rebuild information; runs and shifts well. Brand new non-lead acid AGM battery installed on passenger side. Webers dialed into Charlotte NC altitude.

Suspension/Tires/Brakes:

Appears to be original suspension with Koni dampers with a weltmeister front sway bar. S model brakes up front. Bridgestone tires at 85% tread and Fuchs wheels (these I do not believe would not be original to the 69’).

Overall summary:

Not a concourse car; however, extremely clean and very reliable. First year of long wheel base and a rare color that has to be seen in the sun to really appreciate (Sand Beige in its original un-faded form is jaw dropping). I will facilitate a PPI anywhere you like as long as prospective buyer pays all expenses (I’ll trailer or drive it within 50 miles for a PPI no charge). I can also deliver if you’d like; as I formally owed a car moving business and can help you hire someone safe.

Price/logistics:

Price is $19,900 firm. I believe this price reflects 2009 pricing and is discounted. I think this price is fair, it’s not a deal or a steal and it’s not inflated. I would like first refusal rights if new owner decides to sell the car, a handshake will do.
